A Syrian refugee family came to Canada for a better life only to face the greatest horror

A refugee family escaped the bombs in Syria only to face the greatest horror of their lives. Amal Aishteiwi, a nine-year-old Syrian refugee took her own life after being subject to constant bullying. Amal’s family said that “They were bullying her all the time”. The parents also stated that the kids told their daughter “you better kill just go and kill yourself”. This is just one example of immigrant children facing greater barriers when it comes to fitting in because of struggles adjusting to a new culture. May Allah make it easier for our struggling refugee brothers and sisters all around the world.
