We thank Allah and send peace and blessings on his Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
My beloved brothers in Islam
Assalamu ‘Alaykum wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatuh (Peace and blessings be upon you)
I want to give a word of advice to our sons and young boys living in Australia, and the West.
Son, you have to be a good representative of Islam in this world.
You have to participate and blend into this society
But make sure you protect you Muslim Identity
That should never stop you, however, from leaving a good mark in this society
To give back to this country that has presented you with all these opportunities
Bring peace and safety to this society, so people will see that your religion is about progression and growth and not destruction
You, my son, are one of the building bricks of this society,
You are here to build
How? by having a great character, attitude and academic excellence
Subhan’Allah
And these efforts you are putting into your society are all to improve humanity
Allah has made us different people and tribes
As He swt mentions,
“We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you.”
(Quran 49:13)
So Islam, my son, is against any form of exclusion, Muslims should never exclude anyone from society.
We are part of this world
So show the world that Islam never hates others
You might hate the behaviour of others if they were prejudiced or are aggressors of other people’s lands
You hate their actions or sayings
But never hate them as human beings
I ask Allah to protect you.
