A Gift to the Muslims
Allah is known by 99 names, and some of those include The Merciful, The Forgiver and The Ever-Acceptor of Repentance. Allah proves this many time in the Quran in which He says,“He will forgive you for your sins and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence. That is the great attainment.” Quran (61:12).And then repeats it again in another verse by stating that He will forgive some of your sins, what a great gift to the Muslims,
“Allah will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, the time [set by] Allah, when it comes, will not be delayed, if you only knew.” Quran (71:4).However, the first verse stated above is in reference to the nation of Muhammad ﷺ and is a gift to the Muslims. Allah’s forgiveness is unlimited and this gift should be taken advantage of as it is a gift from Al Ghafoor. Further, the sins we commit Allah says that they will be converted to rewards,
“Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.” Quran (25:70) Abu Hurairah narrates that the Prophet ﷺ said, “If you were to commit sin until your sins reach the heaven, then you were to repent, your repentance would be accepted.” (Sunan Ibn Majah). We ask Allah to forgive all our sins, and forgive all the sins of all the Muslims around the world.
