Mawlana Tariq Jamil Shares One Hadith to Make Your Entire Life Beautiful
Mawlana Tariq Jamil speaks to his listeners about the one hadith of Prophet ﷺ that can make your life and hereafter beautiful and blessed. Prophet ﷺ said that:
أربعٌ إذا كُنَّ فيك فلا عليك ما فاتك من الدُّنيا حفظُ أمانةٍ وصدقُ حديثٍ وحسنُ خُلقٍ وعِفَّةٌ في طُعمةٍ“If you have four qualities, you should not worry about what you missed in life: never deceive, speak the truth, have good manners, and have modest and pure food.” (Musnad Ahmad, Sahih)
1. To Take Care of Trust
The Prophet ﷺ tells us never to cheat anyone, never indulge in deceit. Breaking trust and misleading is serious treachery, it is fraud, it is a mockery of the religion of Allah and His Messenger. Cheating someone in order to stay in some country permanently or doing fraudulent activities are severely frowned upon as this is not a character of a Muslim.
2. Always Speak the Truth
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, A Muslim may do any other sin but he will never lie and he will never cheat. So it’s said never to lie and always speak the truth for the sake of Allah.
3. Have Good Manners
Having good Akhlaq and mannerisms are the characteristics of a good Muslim. Having patience in time of difficulties or hardships is something that makes us holder of excellent characters. Luqman (May Allah be pleased with him) said, “I never regretted about silence but I always regretted about what I had said.” So try to beautify your character.
4. Have Pure and Modest food
Having Modest and Halal food makes one’s life blessed. Mawlana Tariq Jamil encouraged everyone to Earn Halal, Eat Halal, stay away from Haram, not to denigrate your religion and never trade in Haram commodities. The Prophet of Allahﷺ said – “A person who feeds his family halal sustenance and his hands get blisters due to that, then the fire of Jahannam becomes forbidden upon him.”
Mawlana Tariq Jamil encourages us to act on this hadith and implement this teaching in our daily life. Just these four qualities make a person’s life happy, beautiful, and blessed.
