Six Duaas (supplications) from the Quran<\/span><\/h1>\nAll of us are in need of Allah. It is very important to ask Allah for everything that you need\/want. <\/span>\n\nAllah tells Muhammad in the Quran :<\/span>\n
\u201cAnd when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me – indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me.\u201d<\/span> (<\/span>Quran 2:186<\/span><\/a>)<\/span><\/blockquote>\nAllah mentions many Duas (Supplication) in the Quran. It is as if He is teaching us the etiquette of asking Him s.w.t for favours. <\/span>\n\nHere are six Duas (supplications) from the Quran:<\/span>\n\n \n

The dua of Adam to Allah in repentance, after eating from the tree:<\/b><\/h2>\n

\u201cOur Lord! We have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.\u201d<\/i> (Quran, 7:23<\/a>)<\/blockquote>\n

Seeking refuge from Shaytaan (Satan):<\/b><\/h2>\n

\u201cMy Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me.\u201d (<\/span><\/i>Quran 23:97-98<\/span><\/i><\/a>)<\/span><\/i><\/blockquote>\n

The Dua of Prophet Musa (Moses) when Allah sent him to confront the Pharaoh:<\/b><\/h2>\n

Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness). \u201cAnd ease my task for me; \u201cAnd make loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue, (i.e. remove the incorrectness from my speech) \u201cThat they understand my speech,\u201d (<\/span><\/i>Quran 20:25-28<\/span><\/i><\/a>)<\/span><\/i><\/blockquote>\n

“Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.” (<\/span><\/i>Quran 2:286<\/span><\/i><\/a>)<\/span><\/i><\/blockquote>\n
