  1. Improve your private life<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    Imam Al-Ghazali said, \u00a0<\/span>\n\n\u201c<\/span>The first stage of sincerity is that your private and public state should be the same.\u201d <\/span><\/blockquote>\n
      \n \t
    1. Ask Allah for sincerity<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      The Prophet <\/span>\ufdfa<\/span> would often say <\/span>\n\n“Oh Allah I seek refuge in associating partners with you knowingly, and I seek your forgiveness if I did so unknowingly”<\/span><\/blockquote>\n
        \n \t
      1. Hide your good deeds<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \u201cIf you disclose your Sadaqat (almsgiving), it is well: but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, that is better for you. (Allah) will expiate you some of your sins.\u201d<\/span>\n\n (Quran 2:271)<\/span>\n\nThe Prophet<\/span>\ufdfa<\/span> s<\/span>aid: <\/span>\n\n“Allah will shade seven types of people on the Day of Judgment-the day where there is no shade but Allah\u2019s shade…” <\/span>\n\nTwo of those people he mentioned were: <\/span>\n\n“The person who gives charity and kept it so secretly to the extent that his left hand does not know the right hand gave.\u201d <\/span>\n\n\u201cAnd the person that remembers Allah privately until his eyes filled with tears.”<\/span>\n\nSalamah Bin Dinar said, \u201cHide your good deeds (from the people) just like you hide your evil deeds\u201d.<\/span><\/blockquote>\n

        Sincerity<\/strong><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n4.Avoid boastfulness<\/b>\n\nBelittling our good deeds will lead to sincerity. <\/span>\n\nNever consider your good deeds to great, rather understand such actions are solely due to Allah’s favour.<\/span>\n
        Allah has said “So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him.” <\/span>\n\n(Quran 53:32<\/span> )<\/span><\/blockquote>\nAsk Allah to preserve your good deeds and never be proud of your righteous actions. <\/span>\n
          \n \t
        1. Stay away from Praise<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          The Prophet<\/span>\ufdfa <\/span>heard a man praise a man and extol him in praise, so he said:<\/span>\n\n\u2018You have destroyed or cut the back of the man.\u201d <\/span><\/blockquote>\nWe should always strive to be loved by people, but we should never be boastful. <\/span>Always remind yourself that this is all from Allah. <\/span>Our rank in this dunya doesn\u2019t elevate our ranks in the eyes of Allah. <\/span>\n
          “And they were not commanded except with this: that they should worship Allah, being completely sincere in the <\/b>Din<\/i><\/b>.”<\/b>\n\n[<\/span>Al-Qur’an <\/span><\/i>98:5]<\/span><\/blockquote>\nWe ask Allah to make our actions sincere for His sake. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
