Worldwide protests in support of the Rohingya Muslims<\/span><\/h1>\nPeople around the world are protesting against the persecution of The Rohingya Muslims<\/span>\n\nOn Monday, September 4, tens of thousands of people marched through the city of Grozny, \u00a0Russia.\u00a0<\/span>\n\nIn London, several hundred protesters gathered outside the Myanmar embassy in central London on Sunday, September 10. <\/span>\n\nAlso, on September 10, in Karachi, Pakistan, around 7000 protesters, including representatives of the minority Hindu, Christian, and Sikh populations joined the \u201cSupport Rohingya March\u201d <\/strong>to support\u00a0Rohingya\u00a0Muslims, organized by the country\u2019s main Islamic party.<\/span>\n\nLast Sunday, September 17, hundreds of protesters gathered in Lakemba Memorial Park protesting against the oppression of Rohingya Muslims. <\/span>\n\nDhaka, Bangladesh, followed suit on September 19, where more than 10,000 Rohingya Muslims marched towards the Myanmar embassy to protest the crackdown on the Rohingya.<\/span>\n\nOver 400,000 Rohingya Muslims have fled to Bangladesh since violence erupted in Rakhine State last month.<\/span>\n\nBut the response from the Myanmar government has been pitiful.<\/span>\n\n
