The immense love of Allah for Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa<\/span><\/h1>\nSheikh Ahmed from Uganda delivers an amazing sermon in Pakistan on the love of Allah for His Messenger, Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa.<\/span>\n\nIn this short excerpt, the speaker reveals that not once in the Quran does Allah call upon His Messenger by his direct name \u201cMuhammad\u201d as He otherwise does when calling upon all other Prophets.<\/span>\n\nFor instance Allah states:<\/span>\n\n“O Zechariah, indeed We give you good tidings of a boy whose name will be John.\u201d<\/span>\n\nQuran 19:7<\/strong>\n\n\u201c<\/span>“<\/span>O Adam<\/span>! dwell thou and thy <\/span>wife in the Garden\u201d<\/span>\n<\/span>\n<\/span>Quran 2:35<\/strong>\n\n\u201cO Yahya<\/span>! <\/span>take<\/span> hold of the <\/span>Book<\/span> with might”<\/span>\n\nQuran 19:12<\/strong>\n\n“O Noah, disembark in security from Us and blessings\u201d<\/span>\n\nQuran 11:48<\/strong>\n\nYet when Allah calls upon His Messenger, Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa, He does not use his name, but rather He says:<\/span>\n\n\u201cOh Prophet, do not obey the disblievers and hypocrites\u201d.<\/span>\n\nQuran 33:1<\/strong>\n\n\u201cOh he who wraps himself (with a garment), arise (to pray) part of the night except a little\u201d.<\/span>\n\nQuran 73:1-2<\/strong>\n\n\u201cOh covered one, arise and warn\u201d.<\/span>\n\nQuran 74:1-2<\/strong>\n\nAllah does not call upon His Messenger, Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa, by his first name, rather He calls upon him with names signifying his noble status out of love and compassion.<\/span>\n\nIn fact, the only time Allah does use the Messenger\u2019s name \u201cMuhammad\u201d is to establish his link with the Prophethood and the message he has received.<\/span>\n\n\u201cAnd Muhammad is not but a Messenger\u201d.<\/span>\n\nQuran 3:144<\/strong>\n\n\u201cMuhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last of the prophets.\u201d<\/span>\n\nQuran 33:40<\/strong>\n\nAll these examples highlight the love Allah has for His noble Messenger Muhammad \ufdfa. They all serve as a subtle illustration of Allah\u2019s close love for His Messenger, that He will only call upon him by names signifying his noble role in favour of calling him by his direct name.<\/span>\n\nThese examples are not to downplay the greatness of any of the Prophets, but rather highlight the esteem of the final Prophet, Muhammad \ufdfa, the leader of all the children of Adam.<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
