\n\n<\/div>\n\n\nIt\u2019s a strange time to be a Muslim right now\n\nEvery day we wake up and hear our religion mentioned in the news\u00a0on tv, in the mouths of politicians and journalists all around the world\n\nAll of them saying that Islam is something bad, something evil, something nasty.\n\nIn all honesty, I\u2019m not hear to talk about what some politician or journalist thinks they know about Islam\n\nI\u2019m here to talk about you and me.\n\nBecause at the end of the day, Allah is going to ask me what I said and what I did.\n\nAnd He’s going to ask you what you said and what you did.\n\nAll of us as Muslims have an idea in our minds,\u00a0of the kind of better Muslim that we will one day be.\n\nOne day we hope to pray.\n\nOne day we hope to fast.\n\nOne day we hope to go to Makkah and do the pilgrimage.\n\nOne day. Some day. Not today.\n\nBut right now is the time that you need to be a different kind of Muslim\n\nAllah (swt) said in the Quran more than 1400 years ago\n\nHe asks a rhetorical question.\n\nA rhetorical question means that the answer is obvious.\n\nA rhetorical question means that you don\u2019t need to answer because the answer is clear as day.\n\nAllah is asking you and me and all of the Muslims\n\nIsn\u2019t it about time for the believers, that their hearts should wake up\u00a0to the remembrance of Allah and what He has sent down of the truth\n\nIsn\u2019t it about time to wake up to ourselves and be the best Muslims that we can be\n\nIn this world there are 1.8 Billion Muslims\n\nImagine if every Muslim in this world was a clone copy of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)\n\nTheir kindness, their generosity, their compassion, their mercy.\n\nImagine if 1.8 Billion of the worlds people lived that way.\n\nWhat kind of world would this be?\n\nWould anyone have any credibility to say that Islam is something evil\n\nSome people say that it\u2019s a terrible time to be alive as a Muslim right now.\n\nBut I say the opposite.\n\nRight now is the perfect time to be a practicing Muslim.\n\nBecause everyone, everywhere is looking at you\u00a0and seeing how you speak and what you do\n\nSo when Allah says to the Muslims \u201cIsn\u2019t it about time?\u201d\n\nI say, it\u2019s well past time, and you know it is.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
