You don\u2019t own the Mosque<\/strong><\/h1>\nThis short video is an emotional reminder from Mohammad Hoblos to always be welcoming to those who enter the Masjid. <\/span>\n\nIn modern society, each mosque has its own crew. The mosques have become more like houses<\/strong><\/em>, where the people pick and choose who can enter and how they should be treated. This however, is very wrong. In Islam, everyone has been created equally. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>No race, gender or social status is better than the other.<\/b> All that matters in Islam, are one’s actions and intentions. The best among muslims is the most righteous. <\/span>\n
\u201cO mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, <\/span><\/i>the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you<\/i><\/b>. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.\u201d<\/span><\/i>\n\n(Quran, 49:13)<\/span><\/blockquote>\nFurther, in the Prophet’s final sermon, he stated:<\/span>\n\n\u201cAll mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor does a black have any <\/span>superiority<\/b> over a white except <\/span>by<\/b> piety and good action<\/b>.\u201d<\/span>\n\nJustice and equity<\/b> are key factors that are lacking in in the way we treat each other, and Islam has placed a great emphasis on both of these factors for over 1400 years.<\/span>\n\nWe must remember that the Mosque is the house of Allah. Every person who enter it, is the guest of Allah. No matter what the person may seem like, no matter their sect, ethnicity or culture, we must be welcoming. We can not judge a person based on what they do or what they look like. Always embrace those who come to the mosque warmly, greet them with open arms and show them kindness, as Muslims should.<\/span>\n\nRemember it is not your House, but Allah\u2019s. They are not your guests, but Allah\u2019s.<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
