Why Don’t You pray? | Whispers Ep 1<\/strong><\/h1>\nSo you\u2019ve missed the alarm for Fajr this morning, and the past few mornings. <\/span>\n\nStop and ask yourself, why weren\u2019t you able to wake up? Why have you been missing out on your prayers?<\/span>\n\nAre you denying the endless bounties of Allah?<\/span>\n\nSadly, many Muslims have been neglecting their prayers, despite its importance and despite it being a crucial pillar of Islam. Perhaps you think that you have sinned for far too long and you are unworthy of standing before Allah. Or, perhaps you think you are too cool, and you don\u2019t completely understand its importance just yet. <\/span>\n\nWhatever the reason may be, know that Allah is the most forgiving, the most merciful. Repent to Allah and start praying today<\/em>. <\/span>\n\nPraying is a direct command that was given by Allah in the Quran:<\/span>\n

\u201cAnd establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience].\u201d <\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

Quran, 2:43<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\nThrough salah, a person is directly communicating with Allah. Through salah, there is success and vast amounts of rewards given, benefiting us in this life and the next. Through salah, our soul is enriched, pride and arrogance are removed, and our sins are washed away.<\/span>\n\nThrough salah, we are shielded against evil, as it says in the Quran:<\/span>\n

Recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed,<\/span> prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing<\/span>, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

Quran, 29:45<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\nWhatever the reason may be of why you are not praying, just know that in the end you are at loss. We need Allah, and He does not need us. Don\u2019t let shaytaan convince you that you don\u2019t need salah, it benefits us in every way possible.<\/span>\n\nPlease make a change.
