Tareq Ahmed is a registered psychologist based in Sydney, currently practising at Mindwise, where he works with children, teens and adults. He is also the co-founder of Educaid Australia, a non-profit that has trained more than 2,000 mental health first aiders and partnered with over 100 schools, organisations and community groups across Australia. Alongside his clinical background, Tareq speaks publicly about his own experience navigating suicidal ideation as a Palestinian Muslim, bringing a rare combination of professional expertise and lived experience to conversations many families still find difficult to have.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
