In our final episode of “Muslims Explored,” we connected locally with Maria, 16-year old teenager from South-West Sydney who is legally blind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite being diagnosed with a rare condition – which will lead to eventual blindness – she continues to exceed expectations – beginning university at the age of 15 years, actively participating in the community and continuing her pursuit of sacred knowledge. She hasn’t let anything stop her!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More importantly, she sees the world through a different perspective, through a lens of trust, contentment and gratitude in her Lord, Allah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her story’s inspiring those around her and hopefully her story will inspire you too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
