{"id":17820,"date":"2022-04-12T02:53:00","date_gmt":"2022-04-12T02:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/onepathnetwork.com\/?p=17820"},"modified":"2025-03-12T04:55:47","modified_gmt":"2025-03-12T04:55:47","slug":"how-to-make-talbina-meals-from-the-sunnah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/onepathnetwork.com\/au\/the-prophet\/how-to-make-talbina-meals-from-the-sunnah\/","title":{"rendered":"How to make Talbina &#8211; Meals from the Sunnah"},"content":{"rendered":"<amp-jwplayer layout=\"responsive\" height=\"500\" data-player-id=\"bKajWAhe\" width=\"600\" data-media-id=\"Vw2Fp6Ry\" class=\"wp-block-amp-amp-jwplayer\"><\/amp-jwplayer>\n\n\n\n<p>In this episode of Meals from the Sunnah, we learn how to make \u0627\u0644\u062a\u0644\u0628\u064a\u0646\u0629 (Al Talbina), or Barley Porridge, with some delicious toppings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8216;A&#8217;isha the wife of Allah&#8217;s Apostle (\ufdfa) said:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Eat it, for I heard Allah&#8217;s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Talbina gives comfort to the aggrieved heart and it lessens grief.<\/em><\/p>\n<cite><em>(Sahih Muslim)&nbsp;<\/em><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recipe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 tablespoons barley flour (or normal barley into processor)\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 cup milk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Combine on a stove and mix till boiled for about 3-4 minutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add topping like honey, dates, walnuts, pistachios etc.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Different variations can also be made. Add some chopped almonds, walnuts, berries, apricots, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds etc and eat it as a cereal.
