What have you done for this Day (Spoken Word Film)<\/h2>\nTalk Islam presents its latest spoken-word piece produced by OnePath Network.<\/span>\n<\/span>\n<\/span>The poem titled ‘What have you done for this Day’, captures the horrifying reality of a day we will all have to face. The vocals only track featuring Essam of Third World United, prompts us to repeatedly ask ourselves this one question before we reach our inevitable fate.<\/span>\n\nThe lyrics are as follows:<\/span>\n\n \n\nWhat have you done for this day?<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nWhat have you done for the day<\/span><\/i>\n\nyour body is laid<\/span><\/i>\n\nonto a bed of dirt, mud and clay,<\/span><\/i>\n\nin a hole that is cold, dark and grey<\/span><\/i>\n\n6 feet deep only to be locked away<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nAs your family gathers outside to pray<\/span><\/i>\n\nThey say their goodbyes and cry<\/span><\/i>\n\nuntil they can no longer stay<\/span><\/i>\n\nyou hear their footsteps slowly fade<\/span><\/i>\n\nUntil you come to realise\u00a0<\/span><\/i>\n\nThat you are now all alone in your grave<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nThe silence sinks in until you are suddenly faced<\/span><\/i>\n\nBy two Angels who sit you up in your place<\/span><\/i>\n\nAsking who is your Lord, who is your Prophet and what is your faith?<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nWhat will you say?<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nOn the day the trumpet is blown<\/span><\/i>\n\nand our bodies are raised<\/span><\/i>\n\nout of our graves and onto the plains<\/span><\/i>\n\nunder the sun without any shade<\/span><\/i>\n\nBarefoot and naked with nothing to cover our shame.<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nOn the day we stand sweaty and scared<\/span><\/i>\n\nFrom terrors of which no one is spared<\/span><\/i>\n\nTerrors that a leave a child grey-haired\u00b9<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nI mean what have you prepared?<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nFor the day a mother abandons her young\u00b2<\/span><\/i>\n\nA father will flee from his son<\/span><\/i>\n\nAnd everyone will panic and run<\/span><\/i>\n\nAs though they are drunk<\/span><\/i>\n\nbut they are not drunk<\/span><\/i>\n\n\u0648\u0644\u0643\u0646 \u0639\u0630\u0627\u0628 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0634\u062f\u064a\u062f\u00a0<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nRather the punishment of Allah is severe<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nOn the day the scales are brought?<\/span><\/i>\n\nAnd our works are weighed<\/span><\/i>\n\nThe books are dispersed<\/span><\/i>\n\nAnd our deeds are displayed<\/span><\/i>\n\nEvery major every minor<\/span><\/i>\n\nEvery action that was made<\/span><\/i>\n\nAnd Even if it was an atom<\/span><\/i>\n\nIt will be written in a page\u00b3<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nOn the day all is revealed<\/span><\/i>\n\nAnd all secrets are leaked<\/span><\/i>\n\nOur lips will be sealed<\/span><\/i>\n\nAnd our limbs will speak<\/span><\/i>\n\nFrom our hands to our feet\u2074<\/span><\/i>\n\nBearing witness of all we used to reap<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nOn the day the Fire\u2019s exposed for all to see\u2075<\/span><\/i>\n\nCausing all of mankind to drop to its knees\u2076<\/span><\/i>\n\ntrembling and weak, begging God Please,<\/span><\/i>\n\nIf you just take us back we\u2019d be of those who believe\u2077<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nWhat have you done for this day?<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nFor the day Paradise is brought near\u2078<\/span><\/i>\n\nTowards the pious and towards the sincere<\/span><\/i>\n\nFor them is no sadness for them is no fear<\/span><\/i>\n\nFor them is a life of everlasting happiness and cheer<\/span><\/i>\n\nSo will you be of those in Al- Jannah or those in Al-Sa\u2019eer (The Blaze)<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nWhat have you done for this day?<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nOn a day we take the Siraat over the Blaze<\/span><\/i>\n\nAnd tread on a path, thinner than a hair yet sharper than a blade<\/span><\/i>\n\nWill you be of those who fall or those who are saved?<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\n\u064a\u0648\u0645 \u064a\u0639\u0636 \u0627\u0644\u0638\u0627\u0644\u0645 \u0639\u0644\u0649 \u064a\u062f\u064a\u0647<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nOn a day an oppressor will bite on his hands<\/span><\/i>\n\nscream out and say<\/span><\/i>\n\nHow I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way\u2079<\/span><\/i>\n\nHow I wish I never took such a friend as a friend\u00b9\u2070<\/span><\/i>\n\nFor he led me astray<\/span><\/i>\n\nHow I wish I was of those who obeyed\u00b9\u00b9<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nWhat have you done for this day?<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nAKA the Day of Judgement, the Day of Regret<\/span><\/i>\n\nThe Day of Resurrection also known as the Day of Recompense<\/span><\/i>\n\nSo if you hear these words, I urge you to stop and reflect<\/span><\/i>\n\nTake a moment to pause and repent<\/span><\/i>\n\nMake an intention to make some amends<\/span><\/i>\n\nAnd ponder this question again and again<\/span><\/i>\n\nuntil you reach the very end.<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n\nWhat have I done for this day?<\/span><\/i>\n\n \n
