YouTubers, Celebrities, Influencers, and even your favorite Sheikh isn\u2019t safe from being cancelled.<\/span>\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cancel Culture is basically a new movement that sees the public empowered by the tools of social media call-out people of influence for committing wrongs. It can result in people being boycotted, de-platformed, and completely shut down from the public.<\/span>\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And while we definitely see the function of canceling people that are a threat to the public and pose a significant risk to the vulnerable in society, there is a hidden underside to cancel-culture we want to speak about.<\/span>\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What we are seeing today is the emergence of a culture that gloats over watching people fall. A culture that sees us gain satisfaction in exposing people\u2019s sins. A culture that sees us scrupulously sift through a person\u2019s every action, every word, in hopes of finding damning faults.
