{"id":13021,"date":"2019-05-25T10:00:02","date_gmt":"2019-05-25T10:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/onepathnetwork.com\/?p=13021"},"modified":"2021-07-16T10:12:10","modified_gmt":"2021-07-16T10:12:10","slug":"the-price-of-disconnecting-with-allah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/onepathnetwork.com\/au\/spirituality\/the-price-of-disconnecting-with-allah\/","title":{"rendered":"The Price of Disconnecting with Allah | Questions with Dr. Omar Abdel Kafi"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/amp-jwplayer>ENGLISH TRANSCRIPTION<\/strong><\/em>\n\nI thank Allah and send peace and blessings on the Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa<\/span>\n\nMy beloved brothers and sisters Assalamu Alaykom wa rahmatu\u2019Allah \u00a0wa barakatuhu<\/span>\n\nThe more the disconnection is between a slave and his Creator <\/span>\n\nAllah, His Sustainer and His source of guidance <\/span>\n\nThe more problems he faces between others <\/span>\n\nAnd the first relationship affected by that disconnect is <\/span>\n\nThe relationship between a husband and wife<\/span>\n\nAs well as parents with his children and vice versa <\/span>\n\nCause just like there are children mistreating their parents<\/span>\n\nSome parents mistreat their children <\/span>\n\nSome parents don\u2019t know how to raise their children well<\/span>\n\nThey neglect their children\u2019s needs <\/span>\n\nAnd they forget to be their friends<\/span>\n\nAnd to be close to them and listen to them<\/span>\n\nIf we were to imagine a triangle on the screen now <\/span>\n\nWith three sides <\/span>\n\nThe top point of the triangle will be the Quran and Sunnah <\/span>\n\nThe right corner of the triangle will be the Husband <\/span>\n\nAnd the left corner is the Wife <\/span>\n\nAnd let\u2019s imagine the distance of the line from husband to wife is 10cm <\/span>\n\nThis means the more the husband and wife move up towards the Quran and Sunnah <\/span>\n\nMeaning they following the Quran and Sunnah in their daily life \u00a0<\/span>\n\nThe closer the distance between them becomes <\/span>\n\nSo their fights decrease <\/span>\n\nAnd they agree on more things <\/span>\n\n\u201cAnd We amended his wife for him\u201d (Quran 21:90)<\/span>\n\nSo amendment descends from heaven, and lands in the household <\/span>\n\nIbn Abbas used to say, \u201cI know I am committing sins, if my horse and my wife start to bad behaviour towards me.\u201d \u00a0<\/span>\n\nIf his horse is giving him a hard time, he knows he has committed a sin <\/span>\n\nAnd if his wife is giving him a hard time, <\/span>\n\nHe knows there is something wrong with his relationship with Allah <\/span>\n\nFix the relationship between you and Allah, <\/span>\n\nAnd Allah will consequently fix your relationship between you and your spouses, between you and your children \u00a0<\/span>\n\nMay Allah grant tranquility and peace to all of your homes<\/span>\n\nAnd Allah knows best.. \u00a0<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
