{"id":12900,"date":"2019-05-07T19:05:20","date_gmt":"2019-05-07T19:05:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/onepathnetwork.com\/?p=12900"},"modified":"2021-07-16T10:24:56","modified_gmt":"2021-07-16T10:24:56","slug":"sincerity-with-dr-omar-abdel-kafi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/onepathnetwork.com\/au\/spirituality\/sincerity-with-dr-omar-abdel-kafi\/","title":{"rendered":"Sincerity with Dr. Omar Abdel Kafi."},"content":{"rendered":"<\/amp-jwplayer>Sincerity is the essence of every minor and major deed.<\/span>\n\nIf you were to exclude sincerity from your action, <\/span>\n\nIt is as though you have extracted the soul out of the body.<\/span>\n\nAny deed without sincerity is a body without a soul. <\/span>\n\nThis is one thing. <\/span>\n\nThe important thing in dawah is that an honest believer is the one who works for Allah\u2019s sake.<\/span>\n\nHis actions are not done for people, fame or compliments. \u00a0<\/span>\n\nA true believer sticks to his sincerity and his words will blossom due to his honest intentions.<\/span>\n\nThe amazing thing about Sincerity is that it conveys three characteristics of the heart that no other deed has:<\/span>\n
    \n \t
  1. The \u00a0Angels \u201chonourable scribes\u201d cannot record or write down the level of Sincerity in you deeds<\/span><\/li>\n \t
  2. You as a slave can never know the level of sincerity you have in your actions, hence you can\u2019t gloat about it.<\/span><\/li>\n \t
  3. Shaytaan (the devil) can and will never know whether you\u2019ve achieved sincerity \u00a0or not, hence he cannot disrupt that action for a slave.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\nSo neither Shaytaan, yourself, nor the Angels can interfere with sincerity,<\/span>\n\nBecause Sincerity is one of Allah\u2019s secrets.<\/span>\n\nSo whoever seeks the pleasure of Allah in small or major matters, his words come from the heart, and therefore, reaches the people\u2019s hearts. <\/span>\n\nWe ask Allah to make us from those who are sincere, in the hopes that we are elevated to the level of the \u201cchosen servants\u201d.<\/span>\n\nThose servants that Shaytaan doesn\u2019t come near them.<\/span>\n
    Iblis (Shaytaan) have said to Allah swt \u201cExcept, among them, Your chosen servants.” <\/span>\n\n(Quran 38:83)<\/span>\n\nAnd Hence Allah swt said about Yusuf \u201cIndeed, he was of Our chosen servants.\u201d <\/span>\n\n(Quran 12:24)<\/span><\/blockquote>\nAllah swt specifically says \u201cChosen servants\u201d and not \u201csincere servants\u201d,<\/span>\n\nBecause it is an elevated status chosen by Him swt.<\/span>\n\nA servant is sincere at first and then Allah chooses him and purifies him from flaws <\/span>\n\nTherefore, the righteous predecessors used to speak to their \u201cself\u201d (nafs) and say <\/span>\n\n\u201cBe sincere in order to ascend to a higher status\u201d.<\/span>\n\n ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
