The Family of a Christchurch victim speak about their Son<\/span><\/h1>\nA young twenty-four-year-old Muslim was one of fifty victims who was gunned down in the terror attacks in Christchurch. Tariq Omar was seen by witnesses attempting to save a child before he was killed by the gunman. <\/span>\n\nTariq is described by his family as a very gentle and loving person. He was very protective of his younger siblings. He was also a very dedicated Muslim who would strictly adhere to Islamic principles especially when it came to eating halal.
