Six Sunnahs to do when it rains<\/span><\/h1>\nEver wondered what are the Sunnah actions to do when it rains? Here\u2019s a quick list to get you started of what to do during all the different stages of rainfall.<\/span>\n\n \n

Ask Allah to make it beneficial<\/b><\/h2>\n \n\nThe first thing to do when it starts raining is to say <\/span>\n

\u201c\u0627\u0644\u0644\u0651\u0647\u064f\u0645\u0651\u064e \u0635\u064e\u064a\u0651\u0650\u0640\u0628\u0627\u064b \u0646\u064e\u0627\u0641\u0650\u0639\u0627\u064b\u201d, <\/span><\/p>\n

which means <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMay Allah grant us beneficial rain\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunan An-Nisai<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n \n\nPerhaps your sincere supplication will ward off any potential harm of the coming rain and instead bring about a great benefit.<\/span>\n\n \n\n \n

Stand under the rain<\/b><\/h2>\n \n\nTry to catch a few raindrops onto your clothing in hopes of receiving some of the blessings of the rain.<\/span>\n\nAnas Bin Malik reported<\/span><\/i>\n
\u201cWhilst we were with the Messenger of Allah \ufdfa rain fell upon us. The Messenger then exposed part of his garment so that rain fell on his body. When we asked him why he did so, he replied <\/span><\/i>\u201cBecause it has just come from the Exalted Lord\u201d.<\/i><\/b>\n\nSahih Muslim<\/span><\/i><\/blockquote>\n \n

Call upon Allah<\/b><\/h2>\n \n\nOne of the most likely times of having your supplications accepted, is when it rains, so don\u2019t miss out on this opportunity.<\/span>\n
The Prophet \ufdfa said <\/span>\n\n\u201cTwo will not be rejected. The Duaa after the <\/b>Adhan<\/i><\/b> and the Duaa under the rain\u201d.<\/b>\n\nAl-Hakim (Sahih)<\/span><\/i><\/blockquote>\n \n

Ask Allah for protection<\/h2>\n \n\nDuring intense rain, it is recommended to make the supplication <\/span>\n

which means, <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOh Allah around us and not upon us.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the thunder exalts [ Allah ] with praise of Him – and the angels [as well] from fear of Him.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
