How connected are we to the Houses of Allah?<\/span><\/h1>\nIf you want to know your connection with Allah, then you really need to ask yourself what role does the Masjid play in your life. <\/span>The Masajid are essential to our communities and as Muslims, we are obliged to ensure they are up-kept, raised and sanctified. As Allah states in the Quran:<\/span>\n

The Prophet \ufdfa shed light on this love when he said:<\/span>\n

As the Prophet \ufdfa taught, from amongst the people who will be shaded under the shade of Allah on the Day of Judgement is:<\/span>\n

\u0631\u062c\u0644 \u0642\u0644\u0628\u0647 \u0645\u0639\u0644\u0642 \u0628\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0633\u0627\u062c\u062f<\/b><\/p>\n\u201ca man whose heart was connected to the Masjid\u201d.<\/b>\n\nSahih Al Bukhari and Muslim<\/span><\/i><\/blockquote>\nAnd likewise, just as a man\u2019s attendance to the Masjid is a sign of belief, it is also a sign of hypocrisy to be away from the Masjid without an excuse, as the Prophet \ufdfa taught:<\/span>\n

\u201cNo prayer is more burdensome on the hypocrites than the Fajr and Isha prayer, had they known what was in them both they would have attended them even if they had to crawl\u201d.<\/b>\n\nSahih Al Bukhari and Muslim<\/span><\/i><\/blockquote>\nMalik Ibn Dinaar is narrated to have also said;<\/span>\n
\u201cWhen a believer enters the Masjid, it is as though he has entered a fragrant garden that he does not wish to depart from. While a hypocrite that enters the Masjid feels as though he is imprisoned and cannot wait to leave\u201d.<\/span><\/blockquote>\nWe should always strive to enhance our relationship with the Houses of Allah and be cautious of being absent from them. As Ibn Isaac, one of the predecessors of the companions narrates:<\/span>\n
