What does it really mean to be Black and Muslim in Australia? In this episode of OnePath Confessions, a group of Black Australian Muslims open up about what most in the community have never been willing to say out loud: that racism inside the mosque can cut deeper than anything they have ever faced outside it. From prayer mats snatched mid-Salah to Muslim leaders saying “come back after I fix the Arabs first,” to marriage proposals rejected on the basis of skin colour, these testimonies reveal a fracture within the Muslim community that has gone unaddressed for too long. This episode is a reckoning and a call: to Muslim leadership, to mosque communities, and to every person who ever stood in silence while someone else bore what they should never have had to bear alone.
